Dr. Clint Serafino, DPT, FAAOMPT, Dip. Osteopractic, Cert. SMT, Cert. DN is an Osteopractic Physical Therapist in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Serafino holds the Diploma in Osteopractic through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, is a graduate of the APTA-accredited AAMT Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT).
Dr. Serafino earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Winston-Salem State University and was the recipient of The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship. His doctoral research compared movement impairments of obese pediatric populations to normal pediatric populations. Dr. Serafino presented his research at the North Carolina Physical Therapy Association’s PT NEXT Conference in 2014 and was the recipient of the Outstanding Research Award from Winston-Salem State University.
Dr. Serafino is guest lecturer at Wingate University, Winston-Salem State University, and the North Carolina Physical Therapy Association Triad District regarding the vital role of mechanotherapy in the practice of evidence-based physical therapy. Dr. Serafino enjoys reading the latest physical therapy evidence, using gymnastic strength training for his fitness programming, engaging in his church community, being active outdoors, and spending quality time with his wife, Tara.
