    Assistant Director AAMT Fellowship

    Dr. Patrick Gorby is an Osteopractic Physical Therapist, graduate of the AAMT Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy, and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. A native from Ohio, he began his undergraduate studies at Kent State University completing a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology where he also competed in Division I cross-country and indoor/outdoor track and field. Dr. Gorby accepted a Graduate Assistantship at Kent State where he also earned his Masters of Science in Public Health while co-authoring multiple publications for the School of Public Health centered around community health needs and researching Lifestyle Medicine Clinic development. He then went on to aid in the start up of a medical fitness facility onsite of Northeast Ohio Medical University where he directed the fitness department, as well as piloted multiple community educational and health programs aimed at chronic health conditions such as cardiovascular health, orthopaedic injuries, and weight control, all of which were developed alongside local clinical professionals. 

    Dr. Gorby earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Mount Union. He then pursued specialized training in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions by completing the post-graduate Diploma in Osteopractic through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Additionally, he attained Certification in Dry Needling (via Dry Needling Institute) and Certification in Spinal Manipulative Therapy (via Spinal Manipulation Institute) through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT).

    Currently, Dr. Gorby is the Founder and Owner of GO Physio (Gorby Osteopractic) – an out-of-network, mobile cash-based physical therapy practice delivering 1-on-1 specialized care to patients. He serves as a guest lecturer for the University of Mount Union and is also active each year in the admittance process for prospective DPT students for UMU. He is currently located in Scottsdale, AZ and enjoys anything fitness and outdoors related, as well as camping, rock climbing, skiing, and water sports.
