    Dr. Tamara Copes, DPT, MS, ATC, MTC, OCS, Dip. Osteopractic, FAAOMPT is a physical therapist working with the U.S. Army Special Forces.  Dr. Copes graduated from Texas Christian University with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Athletic Training and Movement Science. Dr. Copes served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Louisiana State University where she completed a Master of Science degree in Sports Administration. After working at the University of Louisiana Lafayette as Assistant Athletic Trainer, Dr. Copes decided to pursue a Doctorate degree.

    Dr. Copes graduated from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Dr. Copes successfully completed the post-graduate Diploma in Osteopractic and is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, a graduate of the AAMT Fellowship, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.

    Tamara is passionate about the human performance aspect of taking care of the men and women of the military working in a holistic environment with other specialties, along with acute management of injuries. In her free time, Dr. Copes coaches and plays indoor/beach volleyball and is active in her church.
