Dr. Benjamin England is an Osteopractic Physical Therapist and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He began his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University and graduated with honors from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. He went on to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Trine University. Dr. England then pursued specialized training in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions by successfully completing the post-graduate Diploma in Osteopractic through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Additionally, Dr. England attained Certification in Dry Needling (via Dry Needling Institute), Certification in Spinal Manipulative Therapy (via Spinal Manipulation Institute), and Fellowship status through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT).
Dr. England is currently participating in several randomized clinical trials that are investigating the use of spinal manipulation and dry needling in the management of several musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. England works in private practice at Mallers & Swoverland Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. His passion is treating patients with cervicogenic headaches, complex radiculopathic pain syndromes, and chronic myofascial pain syndromes. In addition to his work as a Physical Therapist, he has been personal training for over 8 years and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has trained NCAA Division I and II athletes, competitive bodybuilders, and military servicemen. On a personal level, Dr. England enjoys working out, playing the guitar, and spending time with his lovely wife.
