Dr. Jared Pugmire, DPT, FAAOMPT, Dip. Osteopractic is the owner and founder of High Desert Osteopractic Physical Therapy in Chubbuck, Idaho, winner of Eastern Idaho’s Best Physical Therapy Clinic four years running. Committed to expanding access to high-quality care, Dr. Pugmire also operates a mobile clinic that serves rural and underserved communities across southeast Idaho.
Dr. Pugmire received a Bachelor of Science in Health Professions from Idaho State University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. He holds the Diploma in Osteopractic from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy and is Certified in Spinal Manipulative Therapy, Dry Needling, and Vestibular Concussion diagnosis and management. In addition, Dr. Pugmire is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). Dr. Pugmire serves as Senior Faculty with the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, where he teaches advanced dry needling technique to clinicians across the nation.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Pugmire is passionate about the outdoors and has completed multiple ultramarathons. He trains regularly in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and enjoys fly fishing, reading, ranch life with his animals, and spending time with his wife and three children. He is also fluent in Spanish. As a lifelong learner, Dr. Pugmire brings both skill and heart to his work, continually pushing himself and others to grow.
